When they finally released this on CD, they annoyingly added a sound effect over the start of the Theme music Track 2.
Oop's. Having replayed the LP. Track two's Theme Tune does continue across from the first track which includes a mysterious wind noise behind Gene Roddenberry's intro.
CBS released the full take of the Star Trek Theme on 7" the same year as this Album
