(I was bordering on internet troll-ery in previous comments... for which I humbly apologise to both Mr Reed, his network, associates, assorted pets, Milli Vannili (and the ICE variety of the Vanillery))



kab2112 SUBS 22nd Feb 2017		I see that the Dan Reed Network are about to tour the UK in March. I did see them about 30 years ago or so, and they were (just) OK. Perhaps you can check them out and let me know if they've improved. (ha ha)



Magic Marmalade 🍰 22nd Feb 2017		I think you've used the right expression there kab: "OK at the time"... ... this is so dated it is painful to listen to. It makes vanilla Ice seem like the fifth Beatle! :) There was just so much that was awful about it I didn't know where to start... but in a nutshell its' way too overly earnest socially conscious rock / pop... with rap. They are like the Milli Vanilli of "rock". One listen may cause the hearer's toes to curl so badly they'll have to wear clown shoes for a whole calendar year! :) I'd just say that if you see it in a record bin, and are wondering if you ought to give it a go... you're better advised to leave it there, and keep looking for other stuff instead.
