 'Als ich wie ein Vogel war' seems to be typical of their work at the time, longing for the Freedom of the birds. The band was summoned to play before the cultural committee who decided which bands should have a licence to play in the DDR but their work was too subversive to get past the Stazi, particularly the works of Kurt Demmler, and they were informed there was no problem with their licence, just that the band no longer existed. After the opening of the Brandenburg Gate the band re-formed and became popular in the unified Germany
