Lee Wrecker 31st Oct 2022		Don't start me talking, Fokeman. These days it seems to be all about packaging. I have old light, wafer thin, bendy vinyl from the 70's oil crisis days that play better than new 180gr virgin vinyl remastered from the original tapes....you know the story. I put it down to the actual pressing plants and the quality control or lack of in new pressing plants. However, there's not much choice in terms of where record companies can have their albums pressed and you end with the situation you have found yourself in. I, too, have bought new albums that have pops, scuffs, scratches and are warped straight out of the shrink-wrap. In the USA a few years back they had to recall nearly all of the Beatles' "Let It Be" and use EU pressings instead as a result of the flow of faulty product back to Amazon. It seems the last thing anyone cares about is the quality of the vinyl these days. Packaging is everything and coloured vinyl may look nice...as I said don't start me talking.



Fokeman 30th Oct 2022		Just opened a copy of this I bought in 2020 still sealed. Very disappointed to find it was horribly scratched on one track on side 1. How did that happen? It was sealed but with a horrible scratch? It's not a good album though with Dylan singing 1930s style slow Al Bowlly style lounge songs. If there's a style suited to Dylan's singing voice, it's not this one!
