Side A of each record gives the composers for all at the bottom of the label, but Sides B on each record gives composer credits next to each individual track, by virtue of the fact that there's at least one track on these sides that was not written by Becker and Fagen.
Interesting typo (on my labels and these): Any Major Dude is spelled: Any Major Dcde
In fact, the front cover of mine is headed:"Steely Dan / 1972 - 1978", and not: "Steely Dan / Greatest Hits", whereas my back cover is headed as "Steely Dan / Greatest Hits 1972 -1978".
(Spine on mine just has: "Steely Dan" at one end, and the cat at the other - no album title - confusing)
I think the cat number on this entry is one digit out...
(I thought I'd added this myself, but it appears not, and only got it down again to re-record after the great mp3 catastrophe of AD 2016 :)
The number on the labels, both these scans here, and mine, are: 99 002 (99,002), as they are on my spine and back cover. I haven't made the correction though, as there are disparities (apparent variations) between mine and the scans here:
While my labels appear identical after a cursory scan, my back cover has the cat# under the abc logo on the lower left of the back cover, and the logo for Movieplay Portuguesa, lower centre of the back cover, and the text: "N * Original De Serie: AK - 1107" just under the track listing on the back cover.
So I can't be entirely sure the cat number on my spine is not a genuine variation - not beyond the bounds of possibility that the cover should vary from labels inside - so please could you varify the cat on your copy you've given at the head of this entry dr.pepper, so I can either create a new entry or add my variant scans here.
