I agree, Lee. Linking is a must.
The band ARE The Angels, regardless how they were marketed in the States. Most name changes, as in this case, was due to the existence of another, signed band with the same name. Marketing in the music industry was at it's climax in the 70s and attempting to promote a band to stardom with the same or very similar name to another popular band was next to impossible.
I have linked this album to the original Australian release by the The Angels as they were known here. The Angel City name was concocted for the US market and Angel City and the Angels are the same band and need their releases collated on both The Angels and Angel City homepage.
Unfortunately changing overseas band's names when they attempted to crack the US market was common throughout the 80's. Not a practice I was ever fond of and I'm the MODS won't like it much having to link The Angels catalogue to Angel City, Sherbet to The Sherbs and the USA moniker Highway. I'll send a correction to alert the MODS.
