nboldock 15th Oct 2013		I met Attila a few years back when we were on the same bill at a small festival near Peterborough. He was on in the afternoon but stayed around for a bit and as I took to the stage I looked up and there was Attila right in the middle of the tent looking right at me. No pressure, then... Fortunately he enjoyed my set and said I could "come and do something" next time he performed in Hull. He kept his word and I opened the show the next time he came to play my hometown. At the end of my set he came and shook my hand as I left the stage, which was a real compliment. It was probably the best set I ever did - everything went right that night. I've since put my poems away for good, never to be heard again, though I suspect Attila will keep going for a good few years yet!
