Hadn't listened 2 this one in a while. "Leader Of The Pack" is Stereo, but has the shortened 2nd verse. "Remember (Walkin' In The Sand)" has an uncommon intro and is in Stereo but missing the bird sound effects. "Mirage" is in Stereo. And I personally coulda done without the spoken hippie stuff between the tracks, but this WAS the 1960s!! ☺

...The attached video has the introduction, PLUS the bird sound effects have been restored.

An odd collection of "oldies" for 1968....but at the time it was a must-have for any "Stereo" collector!!!!!! What made this album unique was that the three Shangri-Las tracks were true stereo (albeit different mixes to their mono counterparts)..the Jellybeans and Ad Libs were given good stereo mixes, The Dixie Cups tracks were re-mixed stereo compared to their original stereo mixes (different imaging)...The Tommy James and Trade Winds (New York) were re-channeled and The Sopwith Camel and Mind Excursion were previously issued in stereo....John
