The label issued a number of spoken word albums between 1970 and 1973. The liner notes include the following "mission statement": 'Black Forum is a medium for the presentation of ideas and voices of the worldwide struggle of Black people to create a new area. Black Forum also serves to provide authentic materials for use in schools and colleges and for the home study of Black history and culture. Black Forum is a permanent record of the sound of struggle and the sound of the new era." Images
