PhilMH 17th Feb 2015		Hi Neil, the cover says "16 Original Master Recordings", and given the presence of The Three Degrees, Sly & The Family Stone, and Billy Paul, all tracks owned by CBS, as was The Blue Notes' track, I'd say it is the original version, and the credit is a mistake.



Neil Forbes 16th Feb 2015		Harold Melvin billed without the Blue Notes? Either an oversight on the album or - a dreaded "re-recording", and if the latter, the question must be asked, how many more of the tracks are thus "re-recordings"? That's why I hold these labels in grave suspicion. They can't be trusted to issue authentic versions.
