Notes

Gatefold cover.
There is a bit of discrepancy on the release date, some sources say this may have been released in 1967.

Added cover images and label (I assume Terre Haute? "T" in wax..not as deep pressing ring as 699277/8)...also had a Barbra Streisand inner sleeve...I guess this may have come with original pressings of the "Central park" and "What About Today" Lps....I'm certain it didn't come with the first "Greatest Hits" Lp....John

According to IMDb.com, it's 1968, but, a ways down the page it mentions it came out in 1975!

I have 'this' record (seems to be the same version although photos don't all match, so not sure)... the date on my record is 1968.

Sorry, typos on my part, film release and album chart debut were in September 1968, not November - Joel Whitburn's TOP POP ALBUMS book has "9/28/68" as the chart debut date.

From what I've seen, this LP was on Billboard's charts as early as late September.

Funny, It didn't chart until November 9th 1968 (where the 28th of November date came from, I don't know)...which means it was more than likely issued the last week of October...(and yes, It was previewed in Billboard on August 10th!)...John

I suspected as much, that's why I stuck with 1968 date, but thought I should at least mention it because otherwise somebody would jump on it.

That's the dreaded Discogs for you, who have got the South African release of this as being 1967. However, the film's US release was 19th November 1968 according to IMDB, and the LP's BILLBOARD chart debut was the week of 28th November, so it is highly unlikely that it would have been released in RSA almost a year earlier.

If the Billboard ad is of any indication, those "sources" must be smoking something.
