Just came across this one in random selections and wondering why the original images uploaded by Whassup are hidden. They seem to be another variation that should be part of the main entry.
Your spider senses are tingling TopPopper and they're right on the money. There are a lot of reasons why I don't like it but that won't change the fact that zillions of people love it. Each to their own but this sort of stuff is not my cup of tea.
Two copies, eh? Methinks you doth protest too much! Don't worry Lee, your secret is safe with us!
Looks like WEA got sloppy with blotting out the "Made In USA" on the cover again, but WEA Records Pty. Limited indicates Aussie release, and 6-digit MX matrix numbers (as always) indicate CBS pressings. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen an Aussie WEA 45 or LP that wasn't pressed by CBS, I think that company must have had the exclusive contract to press for WEA, as they did in the UK from 1972 or 1973. CBS here also pressed for Phonogram/PolyGram, who didn't have their own Aussie factory, unlike in NZ. That wasn't an exclusive deal, as EMI and Festival (and others?) pressed for them, too.
Added a full set of scans for moderation plus the original Burbank labels. Thanks to Whassup for doing the initial posting. Should I review the saccharine turd that is the Rumours album - Oh, I think I just did. Why I have two copies of this rubbish in my house is a mystery to me but I'm sure to find some MOR loving nutjobs to give them to now that they're scanned in.
Christ almighty I'm cursed by the ghosts of Fleetwood Mac - Mrs. Wrecker is watching American Horror Story in the next room and Rhiannon is on the soundtrack as I'm writing. Proving that there is no need what so ever to ever part with money to buy this album or any of their stuff.
