I'm now hoping that my copy is not a bootleg.

Bootlegs are printed on thin cardboard stock. Real promos are thicker cardboard. On the label of the bootleg on the CBS credit writing around the bottom of the label the CBS logo is filled in. Also the vinyl is more light weight. Bootlegs cost about $4 each wholesale in 1978-9. I had two boxes and sold them in my store. I kept one. I've only ever seen a few originals for sale on Ebay over the years. This looks like a bootleg pictured.

I believe it got a review in the NME at the time, and as I am sure I got it from our local dealer in Düsseldorf, it seems there were more than just your ordinary "promo" quantitiy around. Seems like CBS Canada jumped a wagon to beat their US counterparts?

I have no idea if mine is a genuine Promo, or a fake or bootleg. Bought at 78/79.
