 Sorry pudgym, most of my records have been in storage for quite a while and i haven't heard this album for ages and not possessing a turntable at the moment i couldn't tell you if the tracks you mention are originals.
As for Dobie Grays track my meaning was the smooth R&B sound of "Drift Away" is in stark contrast to other tracks therefor making it sound out of place.

 As for A4 and B3, are they re-recordings?

Nonetheless, "Little Honda", "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye", and "Down In The Boondocks" were all post-British Invasion hits in the U.S.A. - as was "Drift Away". The album's title does not restrict the songs to the 1950s & 1960s.

 Dobie Gray's Drift Away seems a little out of place on this compilation.
