The band that backs Paul Whiteman is referred to the "new" Palais Royale Orchestra, which features the "new" Rhythm Boys. Despite the fact that Fred Astaire and Paul Whiteman had fenomenal musical careers for many decades, this disc did NOT sell well mainly because most music listeners had listened to various rock and roll tunes, such as Ain't That A Shame, Rock Around the Clock, Shake Rattle and Roll and many others.
