| | Yes, Jasper I agree they should be separate releases in this case. |

| | Hi Lee, at least with the Cat Stevens one we were able to get enough evidence with differing combinations of cat # on the labels and the covers and we were able to get a logical sequence but to me unless there is something similar here I would make it a separate entry. |

| | It's a quandary Jasper. Same label and release but different cat# and different release date. Do we look at it as the same thing but with slightly altered cat#s due to parent company changes like
this release. Or does the shift from WEA to EMI and corresponding cat# change warrant a new entry? Personally, I favour a second entry as the release dates and cat#s do not match at all. What do people think? |

| | Are you sure that this shouldn't be entered as a separate release not just tacked on as a secondary cat#. Unless the other (COC) number is on the cover somewhere - it's not on the label. |

| | The label with the CUN prefix on the Cat# would not have been released until 1977. In that year the "Stones" catalog went from WEA to EMI and the prefixes on their none US releases changed from COC to CUN. This will apply to all of Stones re-releases put out by EMI. Perhaps this information should be edited and added to the notes. Oh, and thanks to PhilMH for giving me the info above 4 years ago. Time flies.... |

| | Sounds like my own legal size scanner (which handles up to Imperial measurement 8.5" x 14"), where I'm likewise able to do two scans for each side of a front or back cover and stitch them together into a cohesive whole. Congrats. |

| | Full set of scans added.
The large format sheetfeed scanner I thought I could use can't handle covers, they're too thick.
But the A3 scanner I did use produces superb results - I did 2 scans for the outer cover and joined them, the inner scans are only one scan each, but all the pertinent detail is there. Labels done at home on my ancient, but still working, Epson.
Always been fascinated by the inner sleeve, with the track identification chart. |
