Notes This info is found by means of the 26 November 1955 edition of the Billboard magazine on page 23. Mr. Costa is accompanied by Sandy Block (the bassist) and Jimmy Crawford (the drummer). Johnny Costa was a phenomenal pianist even though he initially played the accordion. After Mr. Costa had earned his college degree in music and composition, he became a staff pianist at the KDKA radio station in Pittsburgh. Furthermore, Mr. Costa had composed most of the music of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, most notably, It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood. Despite the multi-talented Costa, this disc sold very poortly and became a medium sought after disc of 33.33 rpm for piano and classical music listeners. Images
