Notes

The source from where this info was found was that of the 3 November 1958 edition of Billboard Magazine on page # 6 of the supplemental Audition Monthly Guide.

The Ramblers are a trio of street musicians who oftern perform in the area of Vine Street in Hollywood, CA. Though none of these musicians were of Latino descendants, they did extensive research on Latin-American music by restricting their food diet to tortillas, enchiladas, chili, frijoles, and tequila for three days. Accordingly, these musicians had generated the ability to play the tunes of this disc as if they were of such descendants.

The personnel of this band is Bob Bain who plays multiple types of guitars, such as the Spanish guitar, the mandolin, and the banjo, Ed Carver who plays various types of accordions and Frank Flynn, who magnificently sounds various types of percussion instruments. Furthermore each musician had composed an innovative tune for this disc, such as Otono, which was created by Ed Carver, Bonita, which was originated by Bob Bain and Margalite, which was started by Frank Flynn.

Though this disc did NOT sell well, the front jacket was issued with a photograph of a tea dance party that had taken place at the Jericho Country Club of Nassau County, NY. Consequently, this disc of 33.33 rpm became a highly-sought after LP primarily in the greater New York City area of Long Island.
