Release info of this disc is found by means of the 1 May 1965 edition of the Billboard magazine on page 32 and by means of the 8 May 1965 issue of the Cash Box magazine on page 32.

Although the artist "Harold Lloyd, Jr. Sings" is indicated by means of the front jacket, only Harold Lloyd, Jr. appears by means of the revrerse jacket and both the a and b sides of this disc. The tune "Softly, As I Leave You" was first composed in italiano by Antonio DeVita and was entitled "Piano."

The vocal of Harold Lioyd, Jr. was accompanied with the orchestra that was directed by Dick Jacobs, who was the Artist Repertoire Director of Coral Records. After Mr. Jacobs had heard Mr.Lloyd, Jr. sing, he quickly assigned Mr. Lloyd, Jr. to an exclusive long term record contract.

Despite the hope and prosperity that Mr. Jacobs had expected from Mr. Lloyd, Jr., this disc sold so poorly that Mr. Lloyd had never recorded another album under Coral records and was most likely dismissed after this Coral disc had sold almost no copies.
