Release info of this disc is found by means of the 15 April 1967 edition of the Billboard magazine on page 41 and the 22 April 1967 edition of the Billboard magazine on page 34.

By means of the front jacket, the title "The Wizardry of Greg Hatza is followed by "Organ Solos With Instrumental Accompaniment with Eric Gale and Grady Tate." By means of the reverse jacket, the title "The Wizardry of Greg Hatza is followed by "Organ Solos With Instrumental Accompaniment." However, by means of both the a and b sides, the album title is simply indicated "The Wizard of Organ" and the artist simply specified "Greg Hatza."

This disc of 33.33 rpm had sold so poorly that it eventually became a highly-sought after disc for mainly jazz listeners.
