Notes

This source of info is by means of the 22 March 1969 edition of the Cash Box magazine on page 46.

Eddie Miller, who was born and reared in New Orleans was the most popular jazz tenor saxophonist of America during the Dixieland jazz era of the 1940s. Mr. Miller was presented with the first Bob Crosby Bob Cats band during which he had popularized the song "Dream" with Jo Stafford and the Pied Pipers.

Mr. Miller had continued to fantastically play his tenor saxophone during the late 1960s at which he had just came home from a prosperous concert tour of the United Kingdom, and was later the presented soloist of the jazz group of Pete Fountain in New Orleans and in various concert venues.

By means of this disc, Mr. Miller plays a group of old and new popular songs with his own jazz custom thru which he had created a unique background of a modern rhythm section which consists of a hapsicord player and a baroque string quartet. Thru these five tunes, (I Wonder Why) You're Just In Love, Out Of Nowhere, We Two Blues, With A Little Help From My Friends and Dream, Mr. Miller and Mr. Fountain co-play these tunes with tenor saxophones.

Though this disc of 33.33 rpm had poorly sold, it became a moderately sought-after jazz and tenor saxophone disc, thru which one could still purchase this rare disc in mint condition for less than ten dollars.
