Pete Fountain had a long successful career with Coral records simply because most of the discs of 33.33 that Coral had issued of Mr. Fountain had achieved national prosperity by means of both the Billboard and Cash Box hit parades. No artist that recorded for Coral had even come close to gain such recognition.

Sadly, this LP did NOT sell well even though it does have some country tunes, such as San Antonio Rose, I Can't Stop Loving You and Crazy that have generated popularity by various artists thru both the Country and Western and popular hit parades of albums of both the Billboard and Cash Box industries.

Despite the poor sales, Mr. Fountain still had recorded these eleven tunes in the style of New Orleans clarinet playing. Lastly, this was the final Coral disc of 33.33 rpm that Coral had issued before Coral had totally merged with Decca records.
