Labels hiding "Columbia" by sticking a circled red ring on the outer part of the labels were found in LPs sold in Germany. They were imported by "Bernhard Mikulski Import Dienst" (later integrated into CBS Schallplatten GmbH) and conflicted with "Columbia" marketing and distribution rights of Electrola GmbH in Cologne. As far as it is known, Mikulski's staff did this type of manipulation.
Some first-pressings (mainly from Terre Haute, IN) were on the two-eye "360 Sound Stereo" labels. (And we're talkin' U.S. copies here, not the Canadian pressings.) This was one of the first to have the label copy layout arranged with the new design on {Images #884216 & 884217} in mind.
