Sally Ann Howes and Edward Villella are reprising their roles from the short lived 1963 Broadway revival of "Brigadoon".

Robert Goulet and Norman Rosemont formed the production company "ROGO" to produce made for TV versions of musicals. This was the first of three specials, each of which were sponsored by the Armstrong Corporation. This version of Brigadoon aired on October 15, 1966. The special was a success, winning it's time-slot with 11,030,000 viewers, making it the fourth highest rated show that night (only getting beat by The Jackie Gleason Show, The Lawrence Welk Show and Get Smart).
