Change the year of issue by all means (l don't know why I put 1975). For me more important is the content, and "shame shame shame" really jumps out of the grooves.
On second thoughts, it's probably 1981 rather than 1984 - I have CXMP 2002, THE BEST OF CHESS CHECKER CADET RHYTHM & ROCK, which has almost impossibly tiny (P) & (C) 1981 PRT Ltd credits in the block on the back cover, which like this one has the look of being originated in England rather than in the US by Sugar Hill, who I think may have picked it up for US release later (there's no US copy in Discogs, though), and there's a printers? code RCS/C/81/TR in the lower-right corner of the back cover; it looks like there's a similar code on this one, but it's too blurry to read.
Year for this is no earlier than 1984, which is when the US version came out via Sugar Hill; in 1975, Chess was licensed to Phonogram in the UK, as was All Platinum, who didn't buy the Chess catalogue until August 1975 (and both labels remained licensed to Phonogram internationally for a few more years). There may be a copyright year included within the copyright information printed next to the PRT logo on the back cover, although in my recent experience it may be hard to read without at least both spectacles and a magnifying glass!
