 It says "made in England" (image 1607495) on the packaging but it wasn't. Universal, the current owners of Parlophone just copied the details from the original UK release. It was actually made in Germany and pressed by Optimal Media GmbH with much more bass in the mix which is an improvement to my ears at least. So much so, that I gave my original USA copy away in due to my preference to this mix.

 Thanks to JesterWX for doing the initial entry and cover and label shots but I have added a full set of scans for moderation and/or shuffling into place. JesterWX's label shots are good but not full size and I think my scans are better reflection of the actual colour of the labels in real life. I wish they weren't as the label shots posted by JesterWX look more like the orange used on the original RCA labels but that's a minor quibble.

This remaster sounds markedly different to the original release. I like it a lot but apart from the improved clarity and separation of sound this mix is notably heavier on the bass and drums. It seems to give the songs a little more warmth but you might need to knock the Bass back a notch on your amplifier to prevent it from becoming overwhelming. All in all though another excellent Bowie reissue from Parlophone.

 These 23 Feb 2018 EU pressed reissues were simultaneously released in the EU, Canada and the USA and should therefore be listed as international. My copy of this is in the post but will arrive in a week or so but I'm presuming it will follow the pattern of the two I have at hand.
