Notes BB Feb 3, 1968 The core members of Ten Years After was formed in late 1960 as Ivan Jay and the Jaycats. Ten Years After became the band name in 1966 in honor to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Heartbreak Hotel, which was the first succesful tune of Elvis in 1956. Furthermore, Elvis was also an idol and an inspiration for Ricl Lee. Although this Deram disc of 33 rpm was issued monaurally and stereofonically in both the United States and the United Kingdom, this was the first and final Deram disc of 33 rpm that was issued in the United States simply because most record companies had switched to an all-stereo recording system.
