 Interesting to note that the spine shows the LP title as simply The Who Sings.

 Stereo copies are electronically reprocessed stereo. This U.S. release had a much better cover than it's UK counterpart, a photo of the group at the clock tower in London, but replaced their way out version of Bo Diddley's I'm A Man with a Pete Townshend original, Instant Party, that they soon after re-recorded as Circles.

One track, The Kids Are Alright was shorter on this U.S. release with most of the middle guitar passage spliced out. This track appeared in this shorter format on their early seventies compilation, Meaty Beaty Big And Bouncy, and on it's CD reissue.
