Notes

The source of this info is found by means of the 18 December 1954 edition of the Billboard magazine on page 23.

This song, which was composed by Irving Berlin in 1946 for the musical production Annie Get Your Gun, was performed by the members of the Wild West Show of Buffalo Bill in order to urge Miss Annie to join the Buffalo Bill production thru which she and her spouse could utilize their sharpshooting skills in re-enactments of wild west crimes, such as train robberies and native American attacks on wagon trains.

There's No Business Like Show Business, which was one of the most prosperous picture shows of 1954 and 1955, had grossed more than $5 million mainly due to the superb performances of the players, such aqs Ethel Merman, Donald O'Connor, Dan Dailey, Johnnie Ray, Mitzi Gaynor and the 20th Century Fox orchestra and chorus. Furthermore, this disc was such a multi-million seller that this LP could not be a highly sought-after disc due to the large quantities that still exist almost 70 years later.

Lastly, this was the final Decca disc of the 8000 catalog # series that was first issued in the format of which the Decca logo was in the form of an arc and was preceded by "long play" and followed by "33.33 rpm."
