Notes Charles James (Tommy) Hunt is a reknowned northern soul recording artist who served in the United States Air Force, but went AWOL so that Mr. Hunt could be with his mother who was dying. After Mr. Hunt was incarcerated due to the fact that he secretly left the air force base, he was released from prison. Then, Tommy returned to Chicago where he formed a band that was called the Five Echoes. Some time later, a member of the Flamingos had asked Mr. Hunt if he wanted to replace that member due to the fact that that Flamingo member was called for duty in the US Armed Forces. After Mr. Hunt had departed from the Flamingos, he signed a contract with Scepter records at which he was a solo performer. Although the tune "A Parade of Hearts" was scheduled to be played thru the radio, "Human" had mistakenly recieved airplay, but this tune was his biggest success of all time. Images
