Gian_paolo 6th Mar 2025		There were also band called Steerpike and Gormenghast around in late 60s and early 70s



Fokeman 5th Mar 2025		Not true, I'm afraid. It appeared as Fuchsia in Gormenghast. In the case of Titus Groan - the record (which was also the title of a Mervyn Peake novel), I assume that the origin was the same but I don't think the error was Peake's. Lady Fuchsia Groan



TheJudge-45worlds 4th Mar 2025		In the case of the Strawbs, the track was named after a character in Gormenghast, so Mervyn Peake got it wrong!
