Small print, hard to read notes on rear sleeve read; "Ok let's tidy up the house.
These are first time recordings of songs we left off, or forgot about re-recording, for our debut album -- 'Shakespeare Alabama'. They were all done at home from as early as November '86 to the winter of love '89.
Some belong to the past, some sound great and others are at least interesting from a Darwinian angle.
The covers included here, such as 'Lazy Me (San Franciso)' and 'Find Somebody' - Grape and Rascals respectively - we are pleased to be able to put out, as they come from much loved formative influences -- some would say indulgence -- which is not always a recipe for good health, but it does feel good at the time, a bit like. See you in the speakers.
