There are a number of inconsistencies with this release. The Orchestra is also called the "Italian Line Orchestra" on the rear of sleeve because the orchestra played on more than one ship on the line between New York and Italy. The main performer was Carlo Taffetani who was responsible for selling the records and his address in New York is the address on the rear.

The DRC (Delta Recording Corp.) label operated from their studios in New York; Delta Recording Studios.

The catalogue number on the label shows clearly the date of recording. What is confusing is two different numbers showing on front and rear of sleeve which do not correspond to the catalogue number on the label. Even the rear of sleeve is pasted on in two parts which would allow the duplication of printing for more than one release sold on board these ships.

Indeed this same record with the same catalogue number was definitely sold with the same cover but with a different ship on the front and different name of ship at the top. The Tn. (Turbonave) Cristoforo Colombo (S.S. Christopher Colombus).
