Artist is also known as the "Italian Line Orchestra", of whom the director was Carlo Taffetani.

Despite label and cover stating "Turbonave" or TN. Michelangelo, the equivalent of "S.S. Michelangelo", scratched into the run-off area can be seen in bold capitals "COLOMBO" which was the name of another ship on the Italian Line at the same time as the Michelangelo was plying its trade across the Atlantic.

This explains a further anomaly. Despite the date of 1964 being given, the maiden voyage of the TN. Michelangelo was not until the following year in 1965. The recordings made earlier for sale on the SS Cristoforo Colombo were simply recycled for sale on the ships of the same line where the Italian bands were used to entertain the travellers on these cruise ships.
