| | P.S. I'd also appreciate, if practicable, the back cover to go with {Image #900823}, given that it, like the front, would likewise be bereft of the "Gold Record Award" as on {Images #529337 & 898753} - and {Image #454380} which likewise didn't have it goes with the fourth-cover {Image #454379}. |

| | Because this LP was in the catalogue for many years - and with the changes in the cover over that period - it was necessary to re-juggle the label order, due to the numerous nuances:
- {Images #900828 & 900831} - original 1965-66 "Dist. By..." rim print
- {Images #529338 & 529339} - 1966-67 "A Subsidiary Of..." rim print
- {Images #898754 & 898755} - 1967 "A Subsidiary Of ABC Records, Inc., New York, N.Y. 10019" rim print
All of the above were East Coast, with label type from Queens Litho's Kaltman Press division (Queens also laid out the rim print for all three label blanks over which the label copy was printed). The rest were Monarch . . .
- {Images #900874 & 900877} - 1967 "ABC Records, Inc." rim print variant unique to Monarch pressings
- {Images #454382 & 454383} - Dunhill / ABC "rainbow box" label first adopted towards the end of 1967, but apparently didn't reach Monarch 'til some time in early 1968.
It appears the fourth cover variant {Image #454379} - the one in black - would have been adopted at or around the time of the {Images #900874 & 900877} variant, from what was described by 'checkm8'.
There was yet another variant, one in the 1966 "A Subsidiary Of..." rim print, pressed by Columbia with Pitman, NJ type and XSM matrix numbers without the said prefix. Someday when my computer is fixed up so I can scan again, I will provide same. |

| | Added another set of label variant images that is a Monarch pressing with the following delta numbers:
Side 1 - Δ8831
Side 2 - Δ8831-X
This copy came in an album cover identical to the black cover shown in {Image # 454379}. |

| | Added front cover variant and label variant images. The front cover variant is the same as {Image #529336}, except that it doesn't have the Gold Record Award seal. The rim text of the labels in {Images #900828 & 900831} have "DIST. BY A.B.C. - PARAMOUNT. . . " rather than "A SUBSIDIARY OF A.B.C. - PARAMOUNT. . . " |

| | "Loo Scroll";)
I must admit until i got a copy of this i wasn't aware of the cover variations as regards the "Scroll" over the toilet;)(I've also just noticed a Diaper Ad at the top of the homepage;).I've added a possible colour variation of telew1947's image,"The Mamas And The Papa's" being a much darker brown, also added a slightly sharper back cover scan and a label variation.
Matrix (image 898754) =DS-50006-A -5 and LW (hand etched).
Matrix (image 898755) =DS 50006B-1C and Bell Sound (machine stamped) and LW (hand etched).
My copy also has a "Sunrise" or "Sunset" generic Dunhill inner. |

| | {Images #454382 & 454383} was a circa 1968-69 pressing, based on the rainbow/box design; it was pressed by Monarch, Los Angeles, with label typesetting from Alco Research & Engineering. The cover, definitely, would have been in place by this pressing. |
