Scheduled for release in late 1974, and appears as a new release in the December 1974 Schwann-1 catalog, but cancelled. Some tracks released sporadically, entire album finally released in 2001 as half of the CD "BEAUTIFUL SOUL: THE ABC/DUNHILL COLLECTION", Hip-O 088 112 477-2. Cover image and writers' credits taken from CD booklet. Side 1 presumed to be first five tracks, side 2 last four.

PhilMH 2nd Dec 2014		Just found an ABC Records catalogue from September 1974 which I had forgotten I had, and this album was originally scheduled to be released that month under the title ELEMENTS. I'm not sure at which point the title changed to LONGING, but I presume that the date was pushed back because the album wasn't quite complete, and then cancelled entirely because it wasn't up to par. BEAUTIFUL SOUL at CD World
