The source of this info comes directly from the 25 August 1958 edition of the Billboard magazine by means of page 25.

Caterina Balotta, professionally called Kaye Ballard, had portrayed the role of Fanny Brice who was a vaudeville comedienne of the first and second quarters of the twentieth century. In this particular role, Ms. Ballard had entertained her viewers by means of singing various tunes rather than telling jokes.

Although this MGM disc had poorly sold, Ms. Ballard continued to have a prosperous career doing various stage and television productions, such as No, No Nanette, Follies and a main part of the television series "The Mothers-In-Law" from 1967 to 1969.
