This Leroy Holmes disc is composed of thirty-two popular tunes, which will keep one dancing for many hours, All the songs are divided into eight "sets" of dances, and are performed in a medley of four tunes to each tune track of this MGM disc.

When this LP was issued, only a few dance band specialists had the background to make a swing dance prosperous. Despite the popularity of rock music, Mr. Holmes and his band had continued to play dance band music at various college and secondary school proms for at least two decades after the end of the era of the swing dances.
