From 1948 thru 1954, Rosemary Clooney was a prosperous songstress who had popularized many recordings, such as Come On-a My House, Half As Much and Hey There b/w This Ole House, of which all four were top prosperous tunes. When Ms. Clooney's success had declined after 1954, she left Columbia records to record at MGM records, but Ms. Clooney had little to no recording success.

When Ms. Clooney had recorded spiritual music by means of this MGM disc, she hoped that she might gain new prosperity with a group of Christian music listeners, but this attempt had made almost no recognition for Ms. Clooney probably because the majority of music listeners chose rock-n-roll as opposed to emotionally healing music.

Finally, this is the second "manufactured in the USA" MGM disc of 33.33 rpm that was originally issued by means of the black label and not the yellow MGM label of the 1950s.
