GOLUBOFF: INDUSTRIAS FONOGRAFICAS S.A, release
MGM label

The Chilean catalog of Connie Francis world-wide product is one of the sketchiest to be found with, prior to the Polydor MGM takeover, the label being handled by first Odeon-EMI, then Goluboff, and thirdly Philips Chilena S.A. Albums handled by Goluboff have all been credited with 1961 release, suggesting that Odeon-EMI were responsible for the period 1958-1961, while details from Philips Chilena list that company's earliest LP as 1965, which suggests an unlikely three year hiatus in long-play releases. The singles catalog, however, confirms the marketing of Goluboff product until 1962 with Philips Chilena taking over in 1963. It also provides possibly the only instance of a catalog adopting a numerical sequence whereby the most recent releases appeared first!

The above album has the same content as USA LP MGM E 3791 but supplied in different picture sleeve. The picture used here was first applied to USA LP MGM E/SE 3869 CONNIE FRANCIS SINGS JEWISH FAVORITES, but against a yellow background. Connie's name is printed in red and the title in green.
