Giovanna Babbo a.k.a. Joni James has recorded several MGM discs of 33.33 rpm with a group called 100 Strings. All twelve tunes of this particular 100 Strings disc, which were predominantly popular among couples who fell in love with one another, were co-composed by Jimmy McHugh. Accordingly, this MGM disc of 33.33 rpm is subtitled The Songs of Jimmy McHugh by means of the reverse jacket side and the a and b side labels.

This disc was not a good seller, but this became a highly sought-after item for romantic lovers in many parts of the world.

Bobby 1950s 24th Mar 2022		A great album by Joni. Joni is the female Frank Sinatra. She is one of the very best singers of all time. Musicians loved working with her and called her a real singer.
