"Producer's note
The original tracks and vocals were transferred from 16 track analog to 24 track digital. Research involving discussions with Rick's manager, musicians, and friends gave us defininte indications of what he had wanted to accomplish stylistically with this album. With this in mind, we overdubbed drums and electric guitar to achieve what we think Rick wanted... a rock and roll singer back to basics with a hot rhythm section."
