The above album features January 13th & 14th, 1964 studio recordings of songs performed by Connie in her motion picture "LOOKING FOR LOVE". Earlier, on September 27th & 30th, 1963, she recorded the versions which are to be heard on the movie soundtrack.
On February 24th, 1964 Connie further recorded another more upbeat version of LOOKING FOR LOVE for release on single USA MGM K 13256. This release has also been referred to as the singles version.
Ah yes, Looking For Love. Which Johnny Carson, in all his years hosting The Tonight Show, kept floating the possibility of buying all existing copies to have them destroyed. In New York, where Carson was based until 1972, Looking For Love was aired on WOR-TV (Channel 9) as part of their share of a 145-film package, "MGM/7," which was split between them and WNBC-TV (Channel 4) which was the flagship station of Carson's home network, NBC - what, WNBC didn't want to antagonize their late-night money machine so they passed on the flick?
