Both STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT and YOU'RE GONNA HEAR FROM ME were first recorded on April 20th, 1966. The compilation appearing on this album features the second recording of each, cut May 31st, 1966.
SOMEWHERE MY LOVE was originally recorded on March 15th, 1966 and another vocal on May 31st, 1966, neither of which have been released. This third recording, for which Connie overdubbed her vocal on June 1st, 1966 is complete and with orchestral introduction to "Lara's Theme from Doctor Zhivago". The vocal was first marketed on single MGM K 13545 in June 1966 minus the orchestral introduction.
SENZA FINE was first recorded by Connie Francis for 20th Century Fox for a soundtrack sequence of the movie "The Flight Of The Phoenix". She recorded a second version, on September 23rd, 1965, released in Britain on single MGM 1295 bw BOSSA NOVA HAND DANCE, an EP titled CONNIE FRANCIS on MGM EP 792 and subsequently on a single in FINLAND. The above LP contains a third recording, cut on December 8th, 1965. Publishing credits have used all three listed titles.
FORGET DOMANI was originally issued on single MGM K 13363 with a correct running time of 2:52. The above album credits a running time of 2:39 - but it is nearer 2:45. Its appearance on the Japanese LP MGM 9001-1/2 ALL ABOUT CONNIE FRANCIS lists the original 2:52 timing but runs 2:57. All three are the same recording and clearly the result of slight speed variance and/or early fadeout.
