Vinyl Album
Notes BB Album Reviews: December 23, 1967 This is the third Elektra disc of 33.33 rpm of the Butterfield Blues Band. In June 1967, this group had performed at the Monterey Pop Festival concert where they sang tunes, such as Born In Chicago, Mystery Train and Mary-Ann. After this blues band had performed at the Fillmore East in New York City, they attracted an unusal large audience of folk music listeners due to the fact that this was the first time that such listeners have ever heard the power of folk music that was played with blues music. Despite the fact that this Elektra disc had mixed reviews, this disc sold very well. Furthermore, this was the final disc of 33.33 rpm of this band that was both monaurally and stereophonically issued in the United States.
