The cat# for this album and Australian Elektra releases are almost identical to US originals except they don't have the hyphen

| | Right again Kemosabe! It can be seen in truncated form here. |

| | I thought that seeing I bought mine early '72 it would still be original issue - it does pin the blue label down to 1971 though. I presume composer credits on side two of the blue label "original issue" are correct. |

| | It's a blue Elektra label bonanza. Nice to see the original label turn up for this one. My memory tells me that there were also a number of different versions of the cover. |

| | I haven't seen that blue background Elektra label before either - maybe it was unique to Australia? Anyway, comparing the ARC/CBS matrices on the labels (MX164191/164192) to those on the "Love Her Madly" single on 45cat (MX164209/164210, released 1st June 1971), this album was probably first released around the end of May, or maybe even on the same day as the single. (There's a project for someone - put all the matrix numbers on Australian ARC/CBS and WEA/Warner group - and a fair number of Phonogram/PolyGram - singles and albums into order, to give at least a reasonable approximation of the release sequence. I don't have enough time to do it in this life - maybe the next one). |

| | It may well have the correct composer credits Jasper and not John Lee Hooker for the last three songs as my copy has. If it does could you correct the composer credits when you upload some scans. Does your version's label have the butterfly on a plain blue background like the linked album. I don't think I've ever seen that particular Elektra label before. |

| | Like "Absolutely Live", the WEA credit makes this a 1973 or later pressing. |

| | I know John Lee Hooker didn't write The WASP (Texas Radio And The Big Beat) and Riders On The Storm but that's the way the label credits the songs. |
