 Burton Cummings plays the character of lounge singer Frankie Fontaine on track A6, and sings two off-color songs, with band accompaniment. At the time, Burton's management was adamant that they would not let MacLean & MacLean put it on their album, lest it damage his career. But the recording started getting airplay on Toronto FM radio, and they relented. It was released, and nothing bad happened to Burton's career.
