Charted in US soon after release, but took 4 months - till Feb '78 to sneak on to UK chart.

HAve we got a duplicate entry here? S EPC 82419

(I've merged them as they were clearly duplicates - mod)

Added better label scans to replace my originals. Cat# should also be S EPC 82419. Correction submitted

 Review
Classed by many as heavy metal this album is more of symphonic masterpiece, pure theatre on vinyl.

If it somehow passed you by listen at least to the title track, getting on for nearly 10 minutes of pure music masterclass from Jim Steinman, performed by Marvin Aday aka Meat Loaf.

It has it all, drama, love, death, motorbikes, guitar riffs and solos over a pounding beat.

You'll then see why this album became one of the best selling albums of all time .
