Notes

A bizarre recording notable for having failed to provide the names of the artists who sang or performed on each track. They ascribe to (Folklore) Trad. that which is frequently not and mention only a handful of names of those who actually performed. Amongst the performers were Steve Waring, Derroll Adams, Alexis Korner, Peter Thorup, the Catalane "Thérésa", Les Barricadiers and musicians from the folk clubs of T.M.S, Club de Bourdon, Hootenanie de René Zosso from Paris and Geneva.

28th Oct 2019
A1 - Group effort for Suite De Gervaise
A2 - A Ta Santé Nanette - Lovely duet by two female singers (possibly Catherine Perrier?)
A3 - Will The Circle Be Unbroken - I think this is Alexis Korner
A4 - Religion sung by Thérésa from Catalonia (French side?)
A5 - La Maringouins (Les Maringouins Ont Mangé Ma Belle)
A6 - La Plus Bath Des Javas performed by "Les Barricadiers"
A7 - Time Machine - Mick Softley (not Sofley) goes crazy on this famous number - interspersed with someone who grabs the microphone and warns everyone that a world war is coming... Mick Softley (who receives special praise for singing and playing every day without asking anything in return - this was a particularly "FREE" festival where the artists weren't really paid anything for performing)
B1 - The Shaskeen - a reel played on the jaw-harp (perhaps by John Wright?)
B2 - Le Réel Du Pendu (The Reel of The Hanged) played on fiddle
B3 - I Am A Rake And Rambling Boy - by Derroll Adams on banjo and vocals
B4 - Won't You Come Home - instrumental performed by group
B5 - Sunrise - performed by a group of players with male vocals
B6 - Come Back Baby - American blues sung by Alexis Korner or maybe Steve Waring?
B7 - Boeuf Mode - improvisation between hurdy-gurdies and appalachian dulcimers. Great stuff!
