This is the first numbered 12" LP on the Expression Spontanée label. All other records issued before being on the 7" format.

All members of the performers were members of the "Bourdon" Folk Club, based in Paris. Bourdon is used to mean "Drone" as in the noise made by a bee. For this reason "bourdon" means a bumble bee in French.
